Search showed 1 file for IE8 on AumHa forums.
Huh? Are you referring to the results of a CUSTOM scan at
Windows Update?
Are you running IE6 or IE7? (You said IE6 before but I'd like you to doublecheck, please.)

The Norton and Mcafee came with the Acronis True Value 10 software I bought just last week.

Norton_firewall_2007.xml C:\Program files\common files\Acronis\BackupScripts
Norton_internet security.xml C:\Program files\common files\Acronis\BackupScripts
Mcafee.xml C:\Program files\common files\Acronis\BackupScripts
Sorry, but I don't understand the above either.
Has Norton Internet Security (or any other Norton application; e.g., Norton AntiVirus) or a McAfee application (e.g., McAfee Security Center; McAfee VirusScan)
ever been installed on the computer-in-question? This would include a free-trial version that came preinstalled on the computer when you bought it and any other free-trial version that you chose to install before you installed AVG v8.5.
If you don't know for sure, that's OK, just tell me.
